Transnational Commercial Litigation (M3125)
15 credits, Level 6
Autumn teaching
On this module, you’ll examine the rules of commercial litigation when a case involves more than one country. In these situations, questions may include:
- where can the case be heard?
- which country’s law applies to the dispute?
- can a court judgement made in one country be recognised and enforced in another?
You’ll focus on key EC/EU regulations and English law, while also looking at international conventions and the laws from other countries.
