Paper submissions

To present your work at ORC 2027, you will first need to submit a 1-page abstract through the Conftool platform. We will reach out to you to confirm that we've received the abstract.

The next step will be to submit a draft paper submission, following our formatting guidelines below. We will review the draft paper submission and ask you to submit a revised paper submission.

All of the submissions we receive will undergo this peer review process by the scientific committee to ensure high-quality contributions. All accepted papers from the conference will be published in the conference proceedings after the event. We also expect to publish selected papers in a dedicated special issue.

  • Submission process

Deadlines and details on the submission process will be announced later this year.

  • Abstract submission

  • Draft paper submission

Draft papers must not be longer than 8 pages including graphs, tables and figures.

All submissions must follow the formatting guidelines. Papers that do not follow these guidelines may be rejected.

Conference awards

Following past iterations, a €2,000 award will also be given to the best paper from the conference. The best paper will be selected based on the reviewers comments and recommendations, as well as feedback from the Session Chairs after the conference.

The Prof. Gianfranco Angelino Best Poster Award (€2000) will honour the merit of work conducted within the scope of research and development on ORC Power Systems technology. The scientific committee will select the recipient of the Award based on the examination of the posters displayed during the poster session(s) and upon discussions with the author/authors present during the sessions.
