Spring teaching

On this module, you'll learn about global capital markets, looking at the decision-making process of international companies, and studying the issues surrounding multinational financial management.

This includes:

  • international monetary systems
  • exchange rate regimes
  • tax rules and legal and institutional complexities.

You'll also study risk factors for multinational companies, including fluctuations in foreign exhange rates and look at key financial instruments.

Other topics include:

  • measuring and managing currency exchange risk
  • capital budgeting for multinational cooperations
  • the implications of the financial crisis (2007-2009) on global companies.

We regularly review our modules to incorporate student feedback, staff expertise, as well as the latest research and teaching methodology. We鈥檙e planning to run these modules in the academic year 2026/27. However, there may be changes to these modules in response to feedback, staff availability, student demand or updates to our curriculum.
