Spring teaching

On this module, you’ll explore the centrality of gender as a factor that structures all social relations.

You’ll explore:

  • personal and sexual relationships within the household, the labour market and from the state
  • how gender relations and practices are performed in different cultures
  • the role of gender in the processes of social transformation
  • the impact of industrialisation and migration on gender relations.

We regularly review our modules to incorporate student feedback, staff expertise, as well as the latest research and teaching methodology. We鈥檙e planning to run these modules in the academic year 2026/27. However, there may be changes to these modules in response to feedback, staff availability, student demand or updates to our curriculum.
