Global Business Law and Regulation Advanced (M6116)

Spring teaching

On this module, you’ll examine the legal and regulation issues of Global Business at an advanced level. In particular, you’ll study the location of transnational corporate assets in different jurisdictions.

You’ll address how relevant legal and regulatory frameworks are shaped and how they’ve changed over time through judicial practice. Topics focusing on current global business challenges include:

• foreign-cubed litigation
• reverse mergers
• global settlement
• compliance relating to litigation in terms of global governance.

You’ll also develop an interdisciplinary understanding of the global context of operations of transnational businesses.

We regularly review our modules to incorporate student feedback, staff expertise, as well as the latest research and teaching methodology. We’re planning to run these modules in the academic year 2026/27. However, there may be changes to these modules in response to feedback, staff availability, student demand or updates to our curriculum.
