Third Year Bioscience Research Project (C7162)

Autumn and spring teaching
On this module, you’ll investigate a topic of your choice. This can include:
- an experimental project, aimed at producing or analysing new data on this topic
- a systematic and critical review of the relevant scientific literature in this area
- devising a strategy to educate the public on this subject.
Your project will develop your critical abilities to:
- survey the scientific literature
- appraise scientific papers and data
- understand cutting-edge scientific techniques
- disseminate and communicate scientific information.
We regularly review our modules to incorporate student feedback, staff expertise, as well as the latest research and teaching methodology. We鈥檙e planning to run these modules in the academic year 2026/27. However, there may be changes to these modules in response to feedback, staff availability, student demand or updates to our curriculum.
