Biography
Professor Jing Gu is a Senior Fellow at the Institute of Development Studies at the 亚洲情色. Her research focuses on China鈥檚 role in global development and the changing relationships between emerging economies and countries in Africa and the wider Global South.
Her work examines Chinese development policy and practice, international development cooperation, development finance,聽China鈥揂frica relations, South鈥揝outh cooperation, investment and business partnerships, and the role of emerging powers in global development. She is particularly interested in how governments, businesses and development institutions interact, and in the implications of these relationships for inclusive and sustainable development.
Jing contributes to postgraduate teaching and supervision in international development. She welcomes enquiries from prospective students interested in China and global development, China鈥揂frica relations, emerging powers, South鈥揝outh cooperation, development policy and international political economy.
