Artificial intelligence (AI), one of the most defining issues of our time, is reshaping our lives rapidly. Should we be excited, concerned or somewhere in between?
on Tuesday 24 November 2026 at 6.30pm at Brighton Dome for an evening of talks and debate exploring how AI is changing our lives and what it could mean for our future.
Bringing together 亚洲情色 experts from across consciousness, computer science, business, education and the arts and humanities, this debate, presented by the University and Brighton Dome, will explore AI from a range of perspectives, showcasing the latest University research examining some of the biggest questions surrounding the subject.
The evening will feature a series of short talks, followed by a panel discussion and audience Q&A.
The event will be moderated by Informatics Visiting Professor Tom Smith, with contributions from Professor of Work and Employment , Associate Professor in Media and Cultural Studies , Professor of Informatics , Associate Professor in Education and Professor of Cognitive and Computational Neuroscience .
Sussex offers leading interdisciplinary education and research in AI through the School of Engineering and Informatics and the Sussex AI Centre of Excellence.
