Module Outline
This module complements your preparation for the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE1) undertaken through BARBRI by providing ten fortnightly seminars that deepen understanding of foundational legal principles and their application. The seminars adopt an academically rigorous and research-informed approach, encouraging you to engage critically with legal doctrine, policy, ethics and contemporary legal issues beyond the SQE1 syllabus. Through discussion, analysis and reflective activities, you will strengthen your legal reasoning, critical analysis and independent learning skills. This module also explores the broader social, regulatory and technological contexts shaping law and legal knowledge in contemporary society.
