Module Outline
This Level 7 Legal Consultancy Project module enables you to undertake a substantial piece of applied legal work based on a live client brief, which may be developed with input from legal practitioners or external partners. You will scope legal issues, conduct in-depth research, and produce structured advice or project outputs. You will develop transferable skills in legal analysis, written and oral communication, project planning, and collaborative working. You should expect to engage with professional standards (including ethics), confidentiality, and reflective practice. Consultancy teams will be supervised by an appropriate academic.

This Level 7 Legal Consultancy Project module enables you to undertake a substantial piece of applied legal work based on a live client brief, which may be developed with input from legal practitioners or external partners. Module learning outcomes
Design and justify an appropriate approach to addressing a complex legal consultancy brief, demonstrating professional judgement and ethical awareness.
Conduct and synthesise advanced legal and contextual research to address a live consultancy problem.
Critically evaluate legal, professional, commercial and organisational factors relevant to the consultancy project and formulate evidence-informed recommendations.
Critically reflect on personal and collaborative contributions to the project, evaluating the development of professional and research capabilities.
