Led by co-founder and co-director Mikaela Loach, this session is an opportunity to learn more about AWETHU’s approach to political education, climate justice, Black liberation, and grassroots organising.
What is AWETHU?
AWETHU is an 8-week, in-person political education and organising programme for young Black people (18–24) in the UK. It brings together a small cohort to build skills in campaign strategy, political analysis, and collective organising, grounded in Black liberation and climate justice.
Whether you’re curious for yourself or want to support someone who might apply, this session will give you a deeper understanding of the programme, what to expect, and how to get involved.
