Module Outline
This is an introductory module at Level 4 (1st year undergraduate), which introduces you to concepts which provide an understanding of sustainable business and management, and gives an insight into managing a global business within a dynamic and complex environment. The module will help you to appreciate the interconnected nature of business organisations, the environment in which they operate, the people involved, and other important aspects such as sustainability and is an effective platform for future study in a wide variety of modules.

Display an understanding of a range of reliable and relevant concepts underlying the study of sustainable business and management
Show an ability to engage in a discussion of issues affecting sustainable business and management
Analyse a selected organisation’s approach to a selected managerial and sustainable business practice and processes
Evaluate the success of a selected organisation’s performance in its undertaking of a selected managerial process
