Module learning outcomes
Understand, reflect on, and build arguments about the theoretical
perspectives examined in the module.
Identify, reflect on and evaluate key concepts and debates about the
colonial formations of the modern order.
Analyse a local case study using concepts from the module.
Interpret and apply theoretical concepts and perspectives examined
in the module to a case study.
Evaluate the differentiated nature of colonialism and/or the role of
non-state actors (anti-colonial movements and transnational
solidarity) in world politics.
